OSHA 10-Hour Construction This course introduces OSHA policies, procedures, and standards as well as construction safety and health principles. The course will review the scope and application of the OSH Act and General Duty Clause, as well as examine areas that are most hazardous. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive an OSHA construction safety and health 10-hour course completion card. OSHA #500 Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction Industry Designed for those in the private sector interested in teaching the 10- and 30-hour construction safety and health outreach program to your employees and other interested groups, the course gives special emphasis to topics that are required in the 10- and 30-hour programs, and those that are the most hazardous, using OSHA standards as a guide. Students will be briefed on effective instructional approaches and the best use of visual aids and handouts. This course authorizes you to conduct both a 10- and 30-hour construction safety and health course and issue course completion cards to participants. OSHA #501 Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General Industry This course provides personnel from all types of industries with detailed information on how provisions of the OSH Act may be implemented in the workplace. Rights and responsibilities under the OSH Act, the appeals process, recordkeeping and Voluntary Protection Programs are covered. It also includes an introduction to OSHA's general industry standards and an overview of the requirements of the more frequently referenced standards. Students taking this course that wish to participate as authorized trainers in the Outreach Program must successfully pass a written exam at the end of the course. Upon passing the exam, you are authorized to conduct both a 10- and 30-hour voluntary compliance course and issue course completion cards to participants. OSHA #502 Update for Construction Industry Outreach Trainers This course is designed for personnel in the private sector who have completed "Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction Industry (OSHA 500)" and who are active trainers in the outreach program. It provides an update on such topics as OSHA construction standards, policies, and regulations. When you complete the course, you are authorized to train for four years. At the end of four years, you must take an update course to renew your authorization for another four years.
OSHA #503 Update for General Industry Outreach Trainers This course is designed for private sector personnel who have completed "Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General Industry (OSHA 501)" and who are active trainers in the outreach program. It provides an update on OSHA general industry standards and OSHA policies. When you complete the course, you are authorized to train for four years. At the end of four years, you must take an update course to renew your authorization for another four years.
